CREATIVE MEDIA | PUBLIC RELATIONS | DIGITAL DESIGN

a digital storyteller.
a content creator.
a social researcher.
& an image consultant.
Born in the island nation of the Philippines
raised in the great state of Texas,
I have always found myself curious about world around me and the people who populate it.
My passion for people and their communities have not only added to my curiosity and creativity but also my networks and skillsets. As a result, I have accumulated over 4+ years of experience in the industries of public relations, marketing. advertising. hospitality, fashion, travel, small business, modeling, and creative media.
I AM...
In addition to my professional career of public and international relations, I occupy my time by traveling and seeking out the EDM and LGBTQ+ communities of the places I visit. Furthermore, I also model for runway shows and editorial magazines, as well as style and consult fashion creatives in fashion and brand campaigns. But when I'm not working or creating, you can typically find me at an estate sale or a rave.

disney college program
After my first two years at the University of Oklahoma, I decided to venture out into the world with my Public & International Relations skillset.
My first destination: Orlando, FL.
At the time, I was accepted into the Disney College Program as a Hospitality and Public Areas Intern at the world-renowned flagship resort, The Grand Floridian. During this time, I learned about the Disney brand, Disney theming and resort hospitality.
STUDY ABROAD
After the Disney College Program, I was accepted into a study abroad program at the Blanquerna-Ramon Llull University School of Communications, where I was able to combine my skillset and study Global Media Relations. During my time in Barcelona, I was fortunate enough to meet Swedish bridal designer, Lisa Wixell, and was subsequently offered a fashion design apprenticeship.
As a fashion apprentice, I learned the basic skillset in fashion design and production, as well as insight into branding, fashion show management and client relations. With Ms. Wixell’s guidance and love, I designed and produced my first mini collection, Jai Jagannatha! An ode to my Hindu second name, Jai Jagannatha was a ravewear collection, utilizing ‘70s fashion patterns with colorful Spanish fabrics. This collection earned me a spot at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, as well as a partial scholarship.

DALLAS
Due to COVID-19 and financial insecurities, I was unable to attend FIDM and instead found myself immersed in the fashion community of my home city, Dallas, TX.
While attending school and working at a secondhand clothing store, I began to model independently and collaborate with color specialist and creative photographer, Maia Tharp. This in turn led to more creative endeavors, landing me my first two styling clients: singer-songwriter Maya Piata and guitarist/rockstar Averi Burk.
Dig it! internship
Currently...
As of today, I have built a network of creative and professional contacts from Orlando, Barcelona, Dallas and Oklahoma City. Additionally, I walked runway as model for sustainable brand Vintage405 as well as Black Fashion Week. Furthermore, my modeling and creative styling has been featured in the magazines Marika, PUMP, Mob Journal, Anvane, Flanelle and Vogue Italia. These features and accolades led me to launch my own creative styling and image consultancy, Scythe Style.
While doing my fashion work, I have also been an event promoter and brand persona for Crystal Queer Riot, a house-techno rave event production company based in Dallas, and Haus Lab, OKC’s EDM event group.
In the future, I hope to utilize these experiences as a Public & International Relations specialist, further broadening my horizons.
In doing so, I see myself working in the intersectional fields of
fashion, event production, creative direction, branding,
public and international relations.
